A client came to us with a new product and a short timeframe in which to promote
it. This product, for the golf retail industry, needed several promotional elements
to make a successful launch. We consulted on the project and developed the marketing
materials, including design, production and fulfillment. We also produced mock-ups
to help the client’s direct sales effort by getting a high-quality product in front
of the retailer even before the actual production was finalized. The mock-up also
helped our client gather valuable customer feedback, which was incorporated into
the final design.
In addition, our client needed a Web site, in order to be visible enough to the
general public to sell enough product. Taking the lead, we developed a fully functioning
e-commerce site by repurposing the printed sales collateral material, while also
handling all the transactional aspects.
We were happy to be able to provide for our client a complete, turn-key solution,
resulting in a successful product launch.

When a national franchise needed to centralize all their marketing collateral in
one location and find a vendor who could provide and manage an e-commerce solution
to control cost for distribution of marketing materials, they came to West-Camp.
We began by developing a web portal to support order generation unique to the geographical
regions of each franchisee. This portal allows the franchisees to view all products
in inventory, customize their print material, view proofs, approve orders and track
orders online. A print-on-demand feature is in place for cost-saving purposes.
In addition, we developed an inventory strategy to keep critical items on hand at
all times, using predetermined auto-replenish levels. Now, franchisees can view
all inventory in real time for planning purposes. West-Camp also provides dedicated
CSRs to handle all the franchisees' customer support, with training provided on
an ongoing basis for those new to using the web portal.

A retail business came to us with their dilemma. They were using three different
vendors to support product launches:
One printer for short-run variable digital printing; a commercial, sheet-fed printer;
and a silk-screen printer for Point of Purchase items. After working with each
printer and learning the unique subtleties of each printing method, the customer
was frustrated and dissatisfied with the results. Project coordination was a stressful
process and, worst of all, no two pieces matched, compromising their hard-earned
corporate identity.
Enter West-Camp. We utilized a single account representative and production coordinator
dedicated to the project, which included: a full-color variable letter imaged on
digital presses; a large run of signs and rack toppers printed on a 6-color offset
press; and, finally, digital wide-format POP material printed on a 7-color UV digital
printer with a unique, digitally routered die cut. Further, color consistency across
each product was achieved using special color profiles for each output device. The
project culminated in final kit packing and distribution to each of the client’s
locations.

One of our clients relies solely on direct mail as their primary marketing vehicle.
Sales are directly linked to each project, and the timing of each mailing is especially
critical, so the client can allocate resources necessary for timely responses to
all mailing-generated inquiries. (In this business, delays in mailings can create
lulls in sales and leave the client with excess capacity.)
West-Camp meets this client’s needs by printing the base run and high-speed addressing
for all the postcards needed by each regional location. We also work closely with
the client to provide mailing lists based on specific demographic profiles. These
profiles are modified and enhanced regularly, in order to maximize the return rate
for each drop. West-Camp Press also provides all data work for each list and distribution
for each mail drop to ensure the lowest possible mailing rates available by the
U.S. Postal Service.
