Adopt-A-Student Program
In the spring of 2012, the Ingram-White Castle Foundation granted a gift of $20,000 to be used to initiate an Adopt-A-Student program.
The cost of a Catholic education is becoming increasingly difficult for many families today. Currently we have 80 families who demonstrate
considerable financial need. The Adopt-A-Student program is a way to connect sponsors with those students and families. There are many
financial ways to participate in theAdopt-a-Student program. A sponsor can choose to make a tax-deductible donation in the following ways:
• A recurring or one-time donation to cover 50%-100% of a student’s tuition for four years;
• A recurring monthly donation to cover 100% of a student’s tuition for one academic year;
• A recurring monthly donation to cover 50% of a student’s tuition for one academic year;
• A one-time donation in any amount
Make a difference today by becoming a sponsor in St. Francis DeSales High School Adopt-a-Student program.Your gift can go a long way
in keeping a Catholic education alive for that very special student.

YOUR GIFT MAKES A DIFFERENCE IN THE VISION
Members of the St. Francis DeSales High School community
share a common vision to be Ohio’s most innovative and
accomplished Catholic high school. The generosity of our
alumni, parents, past parents, and friends will empower SFDHS
to achieve this goal. Through your unrestricted annual gift, you
will have a direct impact on a student’s educational experience.
YOUR GIFT TO THE ANNUAL FUND WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Faith.
Above all else, we are a community rooted in the
principles of our Catholic faith. Theology is an integral part of
our curriculum as is the Campus Ministry program. Funds are
needed for textbooks, bibles, retreat opportunities, and new
audio-visual equipment for all-school liturgies.
Academics.
As always, contributions allow us to strengthen our
academic programs by providing more learning opportunities, to
enhance our technological infrastructure and capabilities, and
to fulfill a vast array of classroom improvements, such as new lab
tables, printers in classrooms, SMART Boards, and Apple TVs.
Service and Co-Curriculars.
Students are taught and
encouraged to live a life of service. No matter where the need
arises, our students do not sit on the sidelines, but lead by
example. Your contribution is not only an example in and of
itself, but also ensures that our school will continue to thrive
and provide such opportunities for future generations.
Student Financial Support.
We are known for our tradition of
excellence. You generosity ensures there are both merit and
financial need scholarships available to deserving students.
Our students today will, in turn, carry on the “Stallion Spirit.”
St. Francis DeSales High School has over 9,000
alumni, and together with current parents,
past parents, and grandparents, the DeSales
community will stand united as we work on behalf
of our students.
Annual fund revenues could grow
exponentially with gifts from more of our DeSales
community.
Each year, just under 450 gifts are
given to the Annual Fund. The following are the
Annual Fund revenues for the past 3 years:
2009-10 $88,100
2010-11 $121,483
2011-12 $127,237
Imagine the possibilities.
A $25 annual gift from
each of our community members would triple our
revenues. An annual gift of $100 (less than 30
cents a day) from each community member would
raise more than $1 million each year!
St. Francis DeSales High School is a 501(c)3
organization. Your Annual Fund gift is tax deductible.
