BMI Federal Credit Union is hosting a Spring Community Day in May. This event is free and open to the community.
The Salvation Army and Furniture Bank of Central Ohio (formally MAPS) will be on site accepting donations of
canned foods, clothing, household goods and, of course, furniture. The Ohio Shredding Company will also be on
hand with a shred truck to shred and destroy your sensitive documents, old checks and statements, receipts, CDs and
DVDs. We are also happy to announce the Franklin County Sheriff ’s department will be here offering to fingerprint
and photo kids for their parents to keep on hand. We will no doubt continue to add things as the date approaches
so keep an eye out for more information on our website and in the branches. We look forward to making our first
Community Day a huge success with your help.

At least once a year it is important to confirm that your account information with the Credit Union is
current and up to date. Maybe you moved or changed your phone number and forgot to let us know.
The biggest culprits are outdated email addresses. It is very important to keep all of your information
up to date. If you pay off a loan or are being asked to verify information we will be able to better
assist you if the information has been updated and confirmed.
